GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR SELECTING SERVICE

If your flute was purchased new or had an overhaul five or more years ago, it will likely need an overhaul. COA is a recommended annual service for new or recently overhauled flutes. If you are not sure what the flute needs, send it in for a free assesment. All custom repair is $65/hour.

INSURANCE

You may purchase shipping insurance if you don't have music instrument insurance with Clarion or another such company. Our business insurance covers all flutes in the shop and in transit back to the customer, but not on the way here.

LOANERS

Our loaner flutes are nicely adjusted intermediate models that should be good enough for practice and gigs.

PACKING YOUR FLUTE

A few rounds of bubble wrap plus a couple of inches of other packing material on all sides should be fine. We sometimes get boxes that could fit a big wide screen TV:) A box 20"x10"x6" should be fine, and that fits into FedEx drop-off box in most places.
