Sergey Klepikov, founder of S. Kotel, began his flute making career in 1992.
He spent sixteen years working for major Boston flute manufacturers including V.Q. Powell, W.S. Haynes, Omnipromusica (David Williams), and Nagahara, making flutes and piccolos.
After many years of experimenting with wood, precious metals and other materials, Sergey is introducing flute headjoints made of different kinds of exotic woods with excellent acoustical properties.
All wood is carefully sellected, seasoned and treated to resist changes temperature and humidity.
