COA Procedure:

(clean, oil, and adjust)

• We examine the flute and assess its condition
• Take it apart and clean body and keys
• Replace the cork inside head joint. (Old corks shrink and the air leaks through)
• Key sections are taken apart, cleaned, re-oiled and re-pinned
• Pads are leveled and adjusted. We will replace up to three pads if they are damaged ($25 extra per pad).
• We do final adjustments, play test it, clean it up, and ship it back to you

COA should be done once every year or two depending on how much you are using it. Professional players need adjustments in between COA's as well.
